Update for the Oppo Find X9 Ultra
Oppo is rolling out a major update for the Oppo Find X9 Ultra. The manufacturer’s flagship camera phone has been given a number of improvements, including to the camera. And that was already very good, as you can read in our comprehensive Oppo Find X9 Ultra review. We also compared the camera with that of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which is no slouch when it comes to taking beautiful photos either. The update, which is now available to download for the model, is 1.54GB in size – a substantial update, then.

The changelog lists improvements to camera performance and photography stability. In addition, you can now connect two pairs of Bluetooth earbuds and control the volume independently of each other. The weather app has also been updated with information on, for example, the lunar cycle and phases. The categories in the app drawer are smarter, and there are various other improvements. But there is another important addition: the June security update. And that is significantly earlier than for other devices. The Pixel devices, for instance, are still waiting for this update.
Galaxy S25 series
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is also being updated, as we’ve heard from DroidApp reader Theo. The smartphone series, comprising the Galaxy S25, S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra, are all being updated with the June security update, along with Samsung’s patches. As far as the changelog indicates, there are no further changes or adjustments. Nevertheless, it is a substantial update, weighing in at just under 940MB. The update is now available to download for the three smartphones.
