July update for the Galaxy S25
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is now receiving the July update. The manufacturer is making the update available for the Samsung Galaxy S25, the Galaxy S25+, S25 Ultra and S25 Edge. The four models are receiving Google’s patches, alongside Samsung’s patches. We’ve heard from several readers, including Theo and Olof, that they’ve been able to download the update.
Samsung’s patches provide specific improvements for Samsung-specific features. For example, there are patches for Knox, SmartThings and Wi-Fi security. Other issues are also being addressed, ensuring your device is fully secure once again.
You’ll automatically receive a notification when the update is ready to install. However, it may take a little while before you receive this notification. If you don’t want to wait, you can go to Settings and manually check for updates under ‘Software update’. The update is 570MB in size.
