July update available for Android
Google has released the July security update for the Android operating system. This month, too, a series of security improvements have been implemented. These include patches for each Android version, as well as patches required for various technical components (such as the chipset) or other parts. Google has released a total of 41 patches this month. Five of these are classified as critical. As such information could play into the hands of malicious actors, these details are not being shared.

Google itself is rolling out the update to Pixel models first. Manufacturers can also get to work on this, and Nothing has already started doing so for the Nothing Phone (1).
Over the coming days, the relevant devices will be offered this new update. If this applies to your smartphone, we’d love to hear from you. Please send us an email with a screenshot to redactie@droidapp.nl.
