May update for Galaxy S24
Two weeks after Samsung rolled out the One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy S24 series, a new update is now available. The Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra are all updated with the May security update. This combines patches from Google with patches from Samsung itself. In terms of security, the brand has hereby updated the phone all over again. Wim and Peter let us know that their device has been updated.

A new update is also being distributed for the Galaxy Tab S9 family. Five tablets from the South Korean manufacturer will be offered the update to One UI 8.5. This means a lot of new features on your tablet. Users will get weather animations on the lock screen, pollen index and new weather widgets, among others. Improvements have been made in the areas of security and battery management, as well as in the revamped Quick Panel and the ability to take a screenshot in video of part of the screen.
The updates are now available for download. If you haven't been notified yet, you can manually check for updates. For the Tab S9 series, the update is there for the Tab S9, S9+, S9 Ultra, S9 FE and the Tab S9 FE+.
