Samsung shares details content own May update: 10 patches

Samsung has shared details about its May security update. On top of Google's patches, the company has added patches of its own. With the new information, we know which vulnerabilities have been addressed at Samsung.

Samsung on May update

Earlier this week, the May security update was released. This update is now available for Pixel models and will become available for more devices in the coming time. Samsung will also start rolling out this update to the necessary devices. Every month, the South Korean manufacturer shares information about its own security update content.

With the May update, the brand is adding ten patches about which more information is shared. Additional patches will be added to that. Due to the impact on security, those details and that number are not shared further. They are Samsung-specific patches for the brand's own devices. Very exciting are not really the details this month. The brand explains that, among other things, security improvements have been made to the Routines and Camera app. There are also improvements for the Galaxy Watch, as well as some things in the background.
