A15, A16 and A17 to be updated
Samsung has been busy spreading updates in recent weeks. The manufacturer from South Korea has been moving along nicely with spreading the update to Android 16 with One UI 8. We are getting reports from readers, who can install the update in Europe on the Galaxy A15, Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A17 as of now. This means you will be offered new features and improvements.
The update brings several tweaks to the interface, including the Camera app. However, that's not the only change, as there are also new animations for Samsung's Weather app and you get more options for the lock screen. Samsung has also improved Quick Share, Now Brief and the Now Bar.
The Android 16 update also comes with the September security update right away. You will get a notification when you can install the update on your device. If you don't get a notification yet, check manually if you can download the update from the settings menu.
