Two colour options for the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2
Samsung appears to be making few drastic changes to its next premium smartwatch. Newly leaked images of the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 reveal a design that closely resembles that of the current Galaxy Watch Ultra, although a few subtle changes are visible.

The renders come from the well-known leaker Evan Blass and show the smartwatch from various angles. Judging by the images, Samsung seems to have opted primarily for refinement rather than a completely new design.
Anyone looking at the images will notice that the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 remains instantly recognisable. Nevertheless, there are a few differences compared to the current model. For instance, numerals have now been added along the edge of the watch case. In addition, the striking orange button has a slightly different look. Whereas on the current model it is entirely orange, Samsung now appears to have opted for a smaller orange ring as an accent. The two extra buttons on the side have also lost their striking colour accents. Furthermore, there appears to be slightly more space between the buttons.

New straps and colours
Samsung is also said to have updated the design of the watch strap. The word “Ultra” is now clearly visible on the new straps.
The leaked images show two colour variants. One model has a dark case with a light blue tint and is paired with a dark grey strap. The second version has a lighter, greyish case with a green strap. Both versions retain the distinctive orange accents.
Judging by the renders, the visual differences appear to be limited. That does not automatically mean there are no improvements. Any potential updates are likely to be mainly in the hardware and software, although no details on this have yet been shared in these leaks.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is expected to be officially announced next month. Samsung is said to be presenting the smartwatch at the same event where new foldable smartphones from the Z Fold and Flip 8 series will also be unveiled.
