Pixel Camera 10.4
An update for the Google Camera app is being released via the Google Play Store. This app is the default camera app on your Pixel device. There are no major changes, but a few welcome improvements have been made. For example, a fix has been implemented for a camera stability issue. In certain cases, on some models, this would cause the system to crash. Another fix addresses an issue where the camera app would freeze when changing the zoom level whilst recording a video. Finally, there is also a fix that resolves freezes in ‘the camera service’.
This is an interim update. We expect the new Pixel 11 series to be released this summer, at which point there may be a more substantial update for the Pixel Camera app. The update is being rolled out in phases, so it may take a while before everyone has the new version.
