First photo of the Nothing Phone (4b)
After we were shown a first sketch of the Nothing Phone (4b) earlier this week, the brand has now shared an official photo showing the new smartphone. It is becoming increasingly clear that this is not a successor to the (4a) models, but rather a model that will be launched alongside them. With this, the brand will be targeting the lower-priced segment.

This is made clear by a post from Evangelidis, co-founder of Nothing. He explains that the B-series falls under the A-series. Previously, the same co-founder had already indicated that no new CMF phone would be released this year, due to the sharp rise in memory prices. CMF is Nothing’s budget brand. The question now is why Nothing is able to launch a cheaper device in the lower-priced segment, yet there is apparently no room for CMF. It is also unclear what this means for the future of the sister brand.
Just like the Nothing Phone (4a), the Nothing Phone (4b) features the Glyph Bar. This is a row of LEDs that can light up when, for example, a notification comes in. We can also see that the phone comes with two cameras, along with an LED flash. This already highlights one difference from the (4a), which offers one more camera. The details and specifications of the camera and the device are not yet available. We will find out all the details on 7 July.
