Google has announced the date for its new ‘Made by Google’ event in 2026. On Wednesday 12 August, Google will unveil a range of new products. First and foremost, the manufacturer will be launching the long-awaited Google Pixel 11 series. The range is expected to initially consist of four models: the Pixel 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro XL and a foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold. This means there will be a successor for every device in the Pixel 10 series.

And it’s now confirmed that Google will be presenting the new Pixel 11 series. Google has, in fact, referred to “the next generation of Pixel” in the teaser. The event will once again take place in New York City and will, of course, be available to watch live via the livestream. Previous reports have already revealed various hints about the smartphones. Naturally, the Pixel 11 devices will launch with Android 17 pre-installed.

There’s also talk of a new feature called Pixel Glow. This gives you a glowing ring around the camera module to alert you to notifications. According to earlier rumours, these should also be animatable. Exactly what this will look like remains to be seen. However, it is said to respond to interactions with Gemini. Perhaps the colour scheme will be similar to that offered by the Google Home Speaker. Otherwise, Google has no major design changes planned.

Furthermore, Google is reportedly planning to announce the next generation of its smartwatch. The brand is said to be launching the new Google Pixel Watch 5 in two sizes. The company may also opt to release a new generation of the Pixel Buds Pro. We’ll find out all the details on 12 August. Of course, you’ll be able to read all about it on DroidApp.
