Zendure announces SolarFlow Mix Series: three home batteries for every household

Zendure today launched the SolarFlow Mix Series in Europe. The series consists of three home battery systems that run on a single platform and promise up to 91 per cent savings on energy bills.

Zendure SolarFlow Mix Series

The launch comes at an interesting time. As is well known by now, the net-metering scheme in the Netherlands will be phased out in 2027 and feed-in costs are rising. This makes it increasingly interesting to store solar energy yourself instead of feeding it back. Zendure's Mix Series is a direct response to this with three high-capacity batteries.

SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro

The top model of the series targets larger households with an annual consumption of around 7,000 kWh. The 4000 Mix Pro delivers 4,000 watts of continuous AC output and supports up to 8 kW of DC input via two MPPT channels. Add the 5 kW AC coupling and you end up with 13 kW total PV input, the highest in the plug-in segment, according to Zendure. Battery capacity starts at 8 kWh and is expandable up to 50 kWh. Zendure claims you can save up to 91 per cent with this model, or around EUR 1,588 per year.

We previously reviewed the Zendure SolarFlow 2400 AC+, which gives a good idea of how Zendure's home batteries perform in practice.

SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+

Do you already have solar panels on the roof? Then the 4000 Mix AC+ is of interest. This AC-coupled model works with almost all common inverter brands and is aimed at three-person households with an annual consumption of around 5,000 kWh. With 5 kW AC input, 4,000W continuous output and expandable capacity from 8 to 50 kWh, the system grows with your needs. Result: some 89 per cent savings, around €1,107 per year.

SolarFlow 3000 Mix AC+

The 3000 Mix AC+ is the most compact model and targets two-person households and flats with consumption around 3,000 kWh per year. Remarkably, Zendure is also positioning this model as a mobile power station for RV use or emergency power. It offers 3,000W continuous output, a fixed 8 kWh battery and delivers off-grid 3,680W with a peak of 7.2 kW. Zendure claims energy bill savings of around 89 per cent, about €664 a year. Smart platform with AI control

All three models share the same technology platform. At the centre is ZENKI 2.0 AI, which optimises charging and discharging in real time based on energy prices, weather and consumption patterns. According to Zendure, that AI mode delivers up to 73 per cent more yield than traditional control under a dynamic contract. The system works with more than 840 European energy suppliers, including Essent, Frank Energie, Tibber and NextEnergy.

In terms of safety, all models feature ZenGuard with dual BMS and an integrated fire extinguishing system. The batteries are built for 10,000 charging cycles, up to 15 years of service life and are IP65-certified.

Price and availability

The SolarFlow Mix Series is available from today via zendure.co.uk and from authorised partners. The SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro has a price tag of EUR 2,899. The SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ will cost 2,419 euros and the smaller SolarFlow 3000 Mix AC+ 2,059 euros
