Xiaomi launches Redmi A7 Pro smartphone for 129 euros

Xiaomi focuses on good battery life, a large screen and an interesting price with the Xiaomi Redmi A7 Pro. After all, the brand's new phone costs 129 euros. What do you get for that money?

The new Xiaomi Redmi A7 Pro has been announced by the Chinese brand. In doing so, the manufacturer has equipped the device with a large 6000 mAh battery. According to the brand, this should be enough to spend two days with the phone. Not only is the battery big, the screen is big too. In fact, the Redmi A7 Pro has a 6.9-inch screen. This is an LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

For taking photos, the Xiaomi Redmi A7 Pro features a 13-megapixel main camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera. Filming can be done in 1080p. The smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor. The working memory comes out to 4GB, with storage of 64GB or 128GB. On the side is the fingerprint scanner, though you can also use facial recognition. The phone cannot handle the 5G network, only 2G, 3G and 4G are supported. For music lovers, a 3.5 millimetre jack for a headset is present.

Xiaomi will deliver the smartphone with HyperOS 3, but remains somewhat unclear whether the smartphone will launch with Android 15 or Android 16. The price is known though: 129 euros. The phone is available immediately at Belsimpel and Mobile.
