Crypto app on your Xiaomi
Next year, Xiaomi will start pre-installing a crypto app, according to new reports. The manufacturer will provide devices specifically in Europe with this service, and this includes devices sold in the Netherlands and Belgium, Tweakers writes. The Chinese manufacturer would choose to install both the wallet and the app from crypto service Sei.
Unknown is how much Sei pays to be preinstalled on Xiaomi's devices. Developers and companies typically pay money to smartphone makers to get on devices. It is reportedly for new devices, and the app will not become available for older devices through an update.
The cryptocurrency app can be used through a Xiaomi ID or by logging in with the Google account. It will be possible to make mutual payments via crypto through the app.
