Renders of new Samsung products
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 looks set to be the biggest eye-catcher. According to the leaked information, the device will feature a wider design than its predecessor, with a 5.5-inch outer screen and a 7.6-inch foldable main screen in a 4:3 aspect ratio. In addition, the foldable smartphone is said to weigh around 200 grams and be just 4.5 mm thick when unfolded. Under the bonnet, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor is expected, combined with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The battery is said to have a capacity of 4,800 mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra has also been extensively leaked. This model is expected to be the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and will also feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. There is also talk of a 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging and a camera system comprising a 200-megapixel main camera, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens.

For fans of compact foldable phones, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 seems to offer few surprises. The design remains largely the same as that of the previous generation. In some markets, Samsung is said to be opting for the new Exynos 2600 processor. In addition, a weight of around 180 grams and a 4300 mAh battery are mentioned. The cameras and screens are also said to be largely similar to those of its predecessor.

Alongside the smartphones, two new smartwatches are also expected to be released. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is expected to be available only as a 47 mm model, whilst the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 will be available in 40 mm and 44 mm versions.

According to the leaked renders, the new devices will be available in several colours, including cream, graphite, lavender, pink and green. Furthermore, recent rumours suggest that the entire new Galaxy range will be more expensive than the current models.
Whether all the leaked specifications are accurate is likely to become clear during Galaxy Unpacked on 22 July, when Samsung will officially unveil the new devices.
