Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 gets bigger battery and more

Samsung is in the news with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. The new smartphone gets several improvements, according to the news. These include the smartphone's battery and display.

Improvements for Galaxy Z Fold 8

Samsung released the Galaxy Z Fold 7 earlier this year. A successor to the foldable is in the works. The company is preparing improvements for the display. According to rumours, the device will have a fold that is less visible. For this, Samsung is applying a special laser-drilled metal plate technology. This should thus reduce creasing. Earlier models are said to already feature various improvements for this, but Samsung is not yet satisfied.

Whereas the current Galaxy Z Fold 7 has a 4400 mAh battery, the new model will get a 5000 mAh battery. Samsung is said to further opt for a return of the S Pen for the Galaxy Z Fold 8.

Incidentally, it will be some time before Samsung announces the new foldable. The device will reportedly hit the market this summer.
