September update for Samsung devices
A new round of updates has started at Samsung. The manufacturer is rolling out a new security patch for several models. The tip about this comes in Bert and Han's mailbox. Security update September 2025 is ready as of now for the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy A53. For the S23 series, this means the update can be brought in for the Galaxy S23, S23+ and the S23 Ultra. The Galaxy S23 FE will get the update later; it is in a different batch.
Along with the September security update, Samsung is also immediately bringing its own patches. A lot of vulnerabilities are addressed with these two updates together. If you can download the update, you will get a notification of this on your device. On the Galaxy A53, the update has a size of around 280MB, on the A54 it is 290MB.
