Samsung's patches for April
Every month, Google releases a security update. Not entirely a surprise, this month's April security update is that. This update addresses many vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the Android operating system. Samsung has already distributed the update to the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S25 series and is coming to more models soon.

Samsung shared the news that they have added eight patches themselves to the update. These address specific Samsung issues. For instance, we see in the overview that work has been done on vulnerabilities in Knox, DeX and the Always On Display. We further see that Samsung has worked on unlocking and the use of Bluetooth.
If you get the update in on your Galaxy, we'd love to hear from you. Send us an email, with a screenshot to redactie@droidapp.nl.
