Amazon Fire TV Stick HD
The new device is smaller than previous models, making it easy to carry around. Whether you want to upgrade your TV at home or stream on the go, the stick easily fits in your bag or even your pocket. The compact design also makes it easier to connect it to an HDMI port, even if other cables are already there.
A handy addition is the so-called 'Direct Power' function. This often allows you to power the stick directly via the USB port of your TV. If you don't have that option, you can still use it with a USB-C cable or an adapter plugged into a wall socket. We know similar support with the Google Chromecast.

In terms of performance, progress has also been made. According to Amazon, the Fire TV Stick HD is over 30 per cent faster than its predecessor. You notice this especially when booting up and opening apps. In addition, the device supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, which ensures a more stable connection while streaming.
The stick runs on the updated Fire TV interface. This is more clearly laid out, with clear categories such as movies, series, live TV, sports and news. So you can find what you want to watch faster. You can use different services such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, NLZIET, Disney+, HBO Max and Apple TV.
A new feature will also be added later this year: Adaptive Display. With it, text and menus are automatically enlarged and made more readable, without distorting images. You can choose how big everything is displayed, which is especially useful if you have trouble with smaller text on the screen.
The Fire TV Stick HD is intended for anyone who wants to upgrade an existing TV, without immediately buying a new one. If you already have a TV with Fire TV built-in, then this stick is less necessary, but for older models it can be a simple solution.
The new Fire TV Stick HD is now available to pre-order for €44.99. This makes it a relatively affordable way to revamp your viewing experience. The new stick will be shipped at the end of this month.
