Huawei Watch Fit 5 (Pro) leaked
Huawei is coming out with two new sports watches. Specifications of these models are shared by the usually well-reliable Winfuture. The standard Watch Fit 5 gets a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a high brightness of up to 2,500 nits. The Pro version takes it up a notch with a 1.92-inch LPTO-OLED screen that can go up to 3500 nits. The material also differs: where the regular version uses glass, the Pro has sapphire glass and a titanium finish for extra strength.

In terms of battery, the two are similar. Both models have a 471 mAh battery that Huawei says will last up to 10 days. In practice, you can expect around seven days with normal use. If you turn on the always-on display, that drops to around four days. In terms of features, you're in the right place with both models. You get support for Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and GPS, plus a comprehensive set of sensors. Think heart rate measurement, body temperature, a barometer and motion sensors. The watches automatically recognise different sports activities and offer various training modes. You can also use colour offline maps.
The Pro version adds some extras. For instance, you get an ECG function and a depth sensor, which means you can also use the watch while diving up to 40 metres. That makes it just a bit more versatile for athletes who want to get more out of their smartwatch.
Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro
In terms of design, Huawei follows a recognisable smartwatch style. Both models are lightweight, at 27.5g for the standard version and 31.6g for the Pro. The Huawei Watch Fit 5 will appear in multiple colours, including black, white and purple. The Pro version will be available in black, white and orange, among others. Prices start at €199 for the Watch Fit 5 and €299 for the Pro. The watches are expected to be officially announced soon.
