Samsung is readying a new update for the Galaxy S23 series. The three models in the series will receive the August security update. This is the latest patch available for Android, was previously rolled out to some other Galaxy devices.
Galaxy S23 series gets August update
A new update is being distributed to the Galaxy S23 series. Dirk and Bert let us know that their smartphone will be updated with a new security patch. From now on, security update August can be downloaded for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. For the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, the update will be rolled out at a later date. This is because it is in a different batch.
With the August update, we will see the update from Google itself. On top of that, Samsung itself added its own patches. Together, these make up the August update. The update is being distributed as of now. You will get a notification on your device when you can download the update.
