June Google Play update
Google releases a Google Play update every month. This is a system update that is separate from other updates, such as Android version updates and security updates. Each of these updates introduces improvements and optimisations. This is also the case this month, with Google addressing various issues. We’ve listed these improvements in the changelog below.
The update is being rolled out in phases by device, so it’s not just for Pixel models. It may therefore take a while before you receive a notification.
Google Play Services v26.23 (15 June 2026)
System management

Google Play Store v51.9 (15 June 2026)
- [Phone] You can now receive a ‘Trusted’ badge on your Google Play Store reviews if you’re eligible for the Trusted Contributor programme and sign up for it.

- [Phone] You can now manage content restrictions on Google Play using the parental control PIN on Android.
