Android 16 for more Samsung devices
Samsung has already provided several devices with the update to Android 16, with several more now being added. So we hear from Richard that the Samsung Galaxy A35 has been updated with the update to Android 16. This again, of course, along with One UI 8, and this gives you access to new features and capabilities. The update is combined with September's security update. Thanks to One UI 8, you will see several changes to the interface, there are new templates for routines, improvements for Now Bar and Now Brief and, of course, several optimisations. Also, Samsung has revamped the weather app with new animations.
The Samsung Galaxy A35 is not the only phone getting the update. We also shared in this weekend's Android Update Bulletin written that the Galaxy A26 has been allowed to receive the update. In addition, users of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 can download the update. Willy reveals that the update is also there for the Galaxy A34. Finally, the update is available for Galaxy Tab S10 series models. This applies to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10, Tab S10+ and the Tab S10 Ultra. For the FE tablets, the update will appear at a later date.
You will receive a notification on your smartphone or tablet when you are ready to download the update. The update is now available in Europe (and thus in the Netherlands and Belgium). If you have not yet received the notification, you can manually check whether the update is available via the software settings.
