OnePlus 13: update to Android 16
The update to Android 16 is now available for users of the OnePlus 13. The smartphone was announced early this year as the new flagship device, although it was succeeded last week by the OnePlus 15, of which DroidApp published the extensive OnePlus 15 review. The new model gets Android 16 right away with OxygenOS 16, and that update is now also ready for the OnePlus 13. DroidApp was previously able to give you an extensive preview of OnePlus' new skin: OxygenOS 16.
New after the update is, for example, Plus Mind, with Mind Space, OnePlus AI's new features. But there are also dynamic pictures for the lock screen, where the clock, for example, disappears behind it. These are called Flux Themes, where you can now also adjust the size of the clock. OnePlus also provides the phone with widget names, an improved menu, adjustments for the lock screen and network improvements. The phone will also be updated to the November patch.
The update is being rolled out from now, we hear from Richard. It is being done in phases, so it may take some time until all users can install the new version. If you get a notification on your phone, then installation can begin. The update has a size of around 3.43GB.
