Huawei Watch Fit 5 series announced
If you are looking for a new smartwatch to help you with your workouts, Huawei has now announced the new Huawei Watch Fit 5 series. The series consists of two models: the Watch Fit 5 and the Watch Fit 5 Pro. Here you can choose from different colours: orange, white and black for the Pro model. For the regular model, there is a choice of silver, purple, white, black and green.
With the Huawei Watch Fit 5, you get a 1.82-inch display. The Pro model offers a 1.92-inch 2.5D sapphire display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The series offers support for contactless payments via Curve Pay and lasts up to 10 days on a single battery charge. According to Huawei, this is with light use. With 'regular use', this is seven days.
When it comes to health, the smartwatch is fully equipped. You can start short workouts without equipment and track activities such as cycling, golf, tennis and vibratory running, including professional analysis and training insights. With the Pro version, you get even more out of these workouts, with trail navigation and golf course maps, for example. Furthermore, the Pro model includes ECG functionality, arterial stiffness detection and pulse wave-based A-fib monitoring. Women's health has also been considered, with cycle prediction and temperature tracking, for example.
Huawei is releasing the Watch Fit 5 for 199 euros. For the Pro model, you will pay 299 euros. The new watches are temporarily priced extra interestingly via Huawei's online shop.
