Google Play Store brings Material 3 animations to updates and installation

Google improves its apps with regularity. Sometimes the changes are bigger than other times. Now you can stumble upon new animations during updates and installations in the Google Play Store on Android. It all looks just a bit tighter again.

Installation animations in Google Play Store

Google has added some new animations to the Google Play Store on your Android device. These can be seen when installing or updating an app. We are made aware of the presence of the new animations by DroidApp reader Sander. The new animations are also seen on other devices we have here at the editorial office.

Animatie Google Play Store

The animation can be seen when updating or installing, where you would normally see a circle filling up all the time. Now that is no longer just the circle, but a slightly more playful icon, matching animations and design we know from Google. Thus, the media player also features such effects.

In this way, another small breath of fresh air has swept through the Play Store. The change will be made to all Android users.
