October Android update
Every month, we bring you news about the new security update that Google distributes. In the brand's own Android Security Bulletin, it explains what patches the update brings. Still, something has changed this time, we wrote today. Namely, Google has changed the strategy around rolling out security updates. We talk to you all about that in the article published this morning.
In a nutshell, it comes down to the fact that we no longer know exactly which patches have been rolled out every month. Google is doing this to further protect users (and manufacturers). So what exactly the October security update will bring is not entirely clear. Usually, Google tackles improvements through several patches, which depend on the technology of the device (such as the processor used in the device) and the Android version, among other things. We will find out all the details about the content of the updates in December.
