You will soon be able to edit your profile picture in WhatsApp through other avenues, than the current ones. It will become possible to import profile picture’s from other networks.
WhatsApp profile picture from Facebook or Instagram
Now when you want to change your profile picture in WhatsApp, you can use several options. You can choose to pick an image from the gallery, take a new photo, or go for an avatar. In some regions, you can also choose to choose an AI image. The number of possibilities for this will be expanded with new options in the future, according to hints from Wabetainfo.
In a screenshot shared, it can be seen that two new options will be added. In addition to the previously mentioned options, users can also choose to import a profile picture directly from Facebook or Instagram.
The feature has been discovered in a beta version, but it is unknown when the functionality will become available to everyone.
