One UI 8.5 for Galaxy A55 and A35
Samsung has started updating two of its A-series devices in Europe, including the Netherlands and Belgium. The Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 recently blew out two candles, but updates will continue for at least four more years. Now it is time for the long-awaited update to One UI 8.5. The May security update was rolled out a fortnight ago; there is no new patch for the devices now.
The update manor One UI 8.5 brings several improvements and new features. For instance, the weather app has been enhanced with new widgets, animations on the lock screen and the pollen index. Also, you can use the PDF scanning function from the camera app and there is a handy AI editor for editing your photos. Samsung further adds improvements for Quick Share, you can compare time zones in the Clock app and there are several more improvements in battery management and security.
We hear from Richard that you can download the update as of now for the Galaxy A55, and thus also for the A35. Not notified of the update's existence yet? You can manually check for updates via the software settings.
