January update for Galaxy A devices
Four devices from the Samsung Galaxy A series will be updated with an update. We get reports from our readers Marcel and Han of updates for their device(s). Samsung is making the January security update available in Europe for the following four models: the Samsung Galaxy A56, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A53 and the Galaxy A26. Last week, the update already appeared for several other models; for instance, the update was already available for download for the Galaxy A55.
The update made available brings patches from Google. To that, Samsung has added its own patches on top. The updates are available as of now, but it may take some time until all users see the new update coming in. You can use the device's system settings to manually check if you can download the update.
