A closer look at the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE
We’ll be seeing another new Fan Edition smartphone from Samsung this year. The company is working behind the scenes on the new Samsung Galaxy S26 FE. At first glance, the Galaxy S26 FE looks very similar to the standard Galaxy S26. However, there is one striking difference: the rear camera module. Samsung appears to have opted for a raised camera bump on the Fan Edition as well, similar to the design we’ve already seen on recent Galaxy Z Fold models and other devices in the Galaxy S26 series.
It is precisely this camera bump that catches the eye. Not so much because of the design itself, but because of its placement. In the leaked image, the module appears to sit closer to the top and side of the device than on other Samsung smartphones with a similar design. As a result, the overall look is slightly different from what we are used to.

There aren’t many more details about the Galaxy S26 FE available at the moment. Earlier rumours suggest an Exynos 2500 chipset, combined with 8GB of RAM. The device is also said to come pre-installed with Android 17, overlaid with the One UI skin.
The image appeared via a listing with the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), the organisation behind the Qi standard for wireless charging. However, the documentation itself reveals little additional information. The stated charging speed of 5 watts is seen as a temporary placeholder and likely says nothing about the final specifications.
Support for Qi 2.2.1 is mentioned, however. This is the same standard used in other devices from the Galaxy S26 series. Built-in magnets, such as those in Apple’s MagSafe system, do not appear to be present, however.
Samsung has not yet officially announced the Galaxy S26 FE, but the device is expected to be unveiled sometime in August or September. Until then, more details and images are likely to emerge.
