Samsung has made several changes to its software updates. The changes relate to the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Updates will be rolled out less frequently for the three devices in this series.

Fewer updates for Galaxy S22 series

Samsung will distribute fewer updates for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. The change to this is visible in the software updates overview. That list also revealed this week that the Galaxy S21 series will no longer receive updates. In doing so, the Galaxy S21 FE has been moved from monthly updates to quarterly updates. This means that a new update will be available for the S21 FE once every three months.
