Samsung Galaxy A27 in pictures
The Samsung Galaxy A27 is leaving less and less to the imagination. New renders and leaked specifications now give a fairly complete picture of Samsung's upcoming mid-range smartphone, expected later this year.

The new images show the Samsung Galaxy A27 in multiple colours, including light pink, blue and black. The design is clearly in line with the current Galaxy style, with flat sides, a sleek screen and three cameras in a vertical arrangement at the back.
Under the bonnet, Samsung is said to opt for the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. With that, rumours say you will get a choice of 6GB or 8GB of working memory and 128GB or 256GB of storage. Interestingly, Samsung seems to be saying goodbye to the microSD card slot, something that was often still present on previous A-series devices. In terms of size, the device will be slightly thicker than its predecessor, although this is only a minimal difference. The weight remains around 200 grams.
The Galaxy A27 is likely to run directly on Android 16 with One UI 8.5. How long Samsung will offer software updates has not yet been announced. With the other two models, Samsung offers six-year updates, both security updates and Android OS updates.
The main camera remains a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilisation. You also get a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, there is a 12-megapixel front-facing camera.

It is notable that the new model, compared to predecessor Galaxy A26 some cameras have become slightly lower in terms of resolution. Still, that does not automatically mean worse photos. On the contrary, Samsung is said to have made improvements in image processing and sensor quality.
According to the leaks, the screen measures 6.7 inches with Full HD+ resolution. This is an AMOLEd panel with 120Hz refresh rate. The battery also remains largely the same. The Galaxy A27 reportedly gets a 5000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
When Samsung will officially present the Galaxy A27 has not yet been confirmed. The smartphone is expected to appear sometime in the second half of 2026.
