OnePlus 16 in initial reports
We have previously seen reports about the OnePlus 16, and the new device is now popping up in the rumour circuit. It remains to be seen whether we will see this device back on the European market. This is because OnePlus' future in Europe is very uncertain. There are strong rumours and reports that OnePlus wants to leave our market. While the current OnePlus 15 already boasts a gigantic battery, namely 7300 mAh, the new model will get an even bigger battery. There is talk in the corridors of a capacity of 9000 mAh. Charging will be possible with 120W. OnePlus is also working on an upgrade for the camera, according to the report. This would be a 200-megapixel periscope lens, with even better zooming.
The high-end smartphone is expected to get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor, and a 6.78-inch screen. This is the same size, but the device will reportedly get a minimum refresh rate of 185Hz and a maximum of 240Hz. It is said to be an LTPO AMOLED screen from manufacturer BOE. Thanks to the use of Low-Injection-Pressure-Overmolding technology that ensures edges of 1 millimetre, and in addition, the screen is said to support the BT.2000 colour gamut.
