Updates for Android devices
New updates are being rolled out for several Android smartphones. This is the case with OnePlus, Fairphone and Poco. To start with, the update at Fairphone. Paul informs DroidApp that his Fairphone 5 is being updated with a new update. Software version VT2K.C.076 only brings the January security update, with no further updates.

OnePlus
A new update is also available for the OnePlus 13 and 13R. It had been a while since the high-end smartphone from early last year had received an update. It is now time for an update with several improvements, we hear from Danny. The update for the OnePlus 13 and 13R brings January's security update. This along with improvements for Private Safe and other optimisations. We list those below.
Delight in details
- Adds a bypass charging feature. When gaming, live streaming, watching videos, navigating, or in other high-load situations, you can now connect to the charger for bypass charging. This feature lets you simultaneously use and charge your phone without harming the battery, while also reducing overheating.
- Improves app categorization in Drawer mode by adding the "Office" and "Finance" categories to make it easier to find apps.
- Integrates the January 2026 Android security patch to enhance system security.
Security & privacy
- You can now browse files in Private Safe by sliding the side slider.
- You can now search for files from folders in Private Safe.
- You can now share files in Private Safe.

Poco
The brand's brand new Poco F8 Ultra is also being updated. The Poco smartphone gets the update to HyperOS 3.0.7.0. The nearly 900MB update brings several improvements. For instance, system stability has been improved, as has camera stability, and some bugs have been fixed. Finally, it updates the device with January's security update.
