Nothing with its own smartwatch
Nothing has now released several smartwatches via its CMF sub-brand, but a smartwatch under its own brand name is still missing. That looks set to change soon. According to a new clue, the company is working on its first Nothing smartwatch, which may be announced as early as September. The information comes from insider Yogesh Brar. He claims that Nothing is currently developing the smartwatch and is aiming for a launch in September. The company has not yet officially confirmed this.

The CMF Watch 2 Pro
Distinctive Nothing design
If the rumours are to be believed, the smartwatch will feature the same design style as other Nothing products. Think of the minimalist design with transparent elements, which has set the brand apart in recent years. We also saw this reflected in the highly rated Nothing Ear (3a) earbuds.
According to the rumours, the smartwatch will be priced at under $300. This would position the watch in the upper mid-range segment. Interestingly, there is speculation that it will run on Wear OS. The current CMF smartwatches run on the company’s own RTOS platform, which is primarily geared towards long battery life and basic functions. A switch to Wear OS would mean that users would gain access to more apps, Google services and more extensive smartwatch features.
The tipster also reports that the smartwatch will initially be available only in a select number of markets. The specific countries involved have not been disclosed.
Should the smartwatch become a reality, it would mark Nothing’s first step beyond its CMF range, giving the brand its own smartwatch designed to integrate with the rest of the Nothing ecosystem. This would see the company further expand its product range alongside its existing smartphones, earbuds and other accessories.
