Samsung releases Galaxy S26+ after all
While it seemed earlier that Samsung was making the Galaxy S26 series consist of three devices, this may be different after all. This becomes clear from new information from a Korean source. The usually well-informed source reports that the Samsung Galaxy S26+ will be released after all. Earlier, it was reported several times that this phone would not appear. This was because the demand for a Plus model in previous generations was much lower than other models. Thereby, Samsung believed in the new thin models, as the brand presented the Galaxy S25 Edge a few months ago. However, sales continue to lag considerably, it seems.

However, Samsung does not seem to have cancelled the thin smartphone just yet, as Samsung is still said to want to release a Galaxy S26 Edge, thus featuring the thin design. The 'standard' Galaxy S26 does not seem to be released anymore; that baton should be taken over by the S26 Pro.
