Zendure announces three new SolarFlow home batteries

Zendure has announced three new products in its SolarFlow range: the SolarFlow 2400 AC+, the SolarFlow 1600 AC+ and SolarFlow 2400 Pro. All three systems are aimed at storing solar energy at home, but each targets a different audience. The Netherlands...

SolarFlow 2400 AC+ and 1600 AC+

Do you already have solar panels on the roof? Then the two AC+ variants are interesting. The SolarFlow 2400 AC+ is a solution that you simply connect to your existing micro-inverter, regardless of the brand. You do not need to change anything to your current installation. In terms of power and storage capacity, this model is similar to the 2400 Pro up to 2400W AC and expandable to 16.8 kWh but without its own MPPT inputs.

The SolarFlow 1600 AC+ is the most affordable option and targets smaller homes or flats with a small solar installation. You start with 1.92 kWh of storage and can expand to around 11.52 kWh. This is similar to the SolarFlow 800 Pro we tested earlier. AC power starts at 800W and can be scaled up to 3600W in premium mode with additional batteries. While doing so, make sure you do create a separate group for the battery.

All three systems share the same smart features: ZENKI AI optimisation, support for HEMS and MQTT, integration with heat pumps and EV chargers, and the ZenGuard safety layer that includes dual BMS and aerosol fire extinguishing. Installation is plug-and-play in all models.

SolarFlow 2400 Pro

The flagship of the three is the SolarFlow 2400 Pro. This is an all-in-one system with 2400W of bi-directional AC power, four MPPT inputs and up to 3000W of solar power via DC. Combine that with an existing micro-inverter on AC, and you even end up with 4800W of total solar input. The base capacity is 2.4 kWh, but you can expand that to as much as 16.8 kWh. The system is specifically designed for larger homes with high energy consumption such as heat pumps, EVs and kitchen appliances.

The system is IP65-certified and features self-heating, so even in winter you should have no problems with it. In case of power failure, the 2400 Pro offers a stable off-grid backup of 2400VA.

The SolarFlow 2400 AC+ with P1 Meter is available from 998 euros while the SolarFlow 1600 AC+ and P1 Meter will cost you 758 euros. The SolarFlow 2400 Pro with P1 Meter will set you back 1238 euros.
