Redmi Note 15 series and REDMI Titan Durability

The Redmi Note 15 series features what Xiaomi calls 'REDMI Titan Durability'. This means improved battery performance, enhanced drop resistance and better protection against dust and water. Thanks to REDMI Titan Structure and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the devices are certified for drop resistance up to a height of 2.5 metres.

Long battery life

On all Pro models, the SiC battery works together with the Xiaomi Surge battery management system, maintaining 80 per cent or more capacity after 1,600 charge cycles. According to Xiaomi itself, this equates to around six years of use.

Display and audio

The two Pro 5G models feature a 6.83-inch display, while the remaining models all have a 6.77-inch display. With a peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits and 3840Hz PWM dimming, they offer excellent visibility and eye comfort.

The Pro models offer a 400 per cent volume boost, while the rest of the line-up has a 300 per cent boost for clear audio. All models support Google Gemini and Circle to Search with Google.

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G

The top model of the series features a 6500 mAh silicon carbon battery with 100W HyperCharge and 22.5W reverse charging. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mobile platform and introduces the Xiaomi IceLoop cooling system to the REDMI Note series.

For photography, the Pro+ 5G has a new 200MP camera with the global debut of the 200MP HPE image sensor. This 1/1.4-inch sensor offers 2x and 4x zoom at the sensor level, similar to optical zoom. The Pro models support five focal lengths from 23 millimetres to 92 millimetres through a single lens.

A special feature is Xiaomi Offline Communication, which allows voice calls over miles without network coverage, we also saw this with the Xiaomi 15T Pro. For protection against water and dust, the device meets IP66 and IP68 standards. You can submerge it for up to 24 hours at a depth of 2 metres, according to the manufacturer itself. Thanks to Wet Touch 2.0, the display remains responsive even when the screen or your fingertips are wet.

Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G

The Pro 5G has similar specs to the Pro+ 5G, but in a slightly more accessible price range. This model too has the 200MP camera with HPE sensor, IP66 and IP68 certification and the REDMI Titan Structure with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The battery is even slightly larger than the Pro+ 5G at 6580 mAh. This version is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity Ultra 7400 chipset, fast charging is slightly slower than its little brother, at a maximum of 45 watts. Also, the brown variant has been swapped for a titanium design.

Redmi Note 15 Pro

The Pro model without 5G features a 6,500mAh battery and a 200MP camera. This model lacks the waterproof certification of its more expensive brethren, but does have the reinforced REDMI Titan Structure for drop resistance.

Redmi Note 15 5G

At 7.35 millimetres, the Redmi Note 15 5G is the thinnest REDMI Note device to date, but still packs a powerful 5,520mAh SiC battery. This model features a 108MP camera with 3x telephoto performance. A nice alternative for those who don't need the highest of the highest.

Redmi Buds 8 Lite

Apart from the phones, Xiaomi is also introducing the Redmi Buds 8 Lite. These entry-level earphones feature a 12.4-millimetre driver and support Bluetooth 5.4. The earphones offer up to 42dB of hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) and dual-mic AI noise cancellation for calls.
