Emojis in Spotify
The new feature supports various reactions, including ❤️, 😂, 👍, 🎧, 🔥 and 🥹. Have you added a track to a shared playlist? If so, you’ll receive a notification via Spotify Messages whenever someone reacts to your addition.
The emoji reactions remain private within the group. Only the playlist owner and contributors can see which reactions have been posted. Other Spotify users do not have access to them.

Spotify also gives playlist owners control over the feature. For shared playlists with fewer than ten editors, emoji reactions are enabled by default. For larger groups, the owner must enable the feature manually. Anyone who doesn’t want comments can also disable them completely.
With this addition, Spotify is further focusing on shared music experiences. The streaming service has recently introduced several new playlist features. For example, it is now possible to import playlists from other music services, use AI to curate playlists and add custom transitions between tracks.
Spotify continues to explore new possibilities beyond music too. The platform is working on additional features for podcasts and audiobooks and has also added a fitness hub.
