No more updates for Galaxy Note 20
There will be no more updates for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series. The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will no longer receive new updates. The smartphone series was released in 2020, and those were also the last Note devices. Samsung replaced these Note models with the Ultra from the Galaxy S series. The latest model in this is the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Five years of updates were distributed for the Note 20 series, but from the update list has now been updated. The phones currently run on Android 13 with security update July 2025.

Changes are also in place for two foldables. Samsung is rolling out updates less frequently for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. From now on, the two 2021 foldables will get a new update once a quarter. Earlier, this was monthly new updates. The phones will both be kept up with updates for another year. Currently, the Fold 3 and Flip 3 are still running on the August security update.
