Samsung Galaxy S24 gets Android 16
Samsung has a good taste of Android 16. This afternoon we were tipped off about the update for the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy S24 FE, now the update is ready for three more models. Teus informs us that the Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra will also be updated with the hefty update.
The hefty update means that the smartphones will be updated with Android 16 and One UI 8. This means slight changes to the interface, an updated camera app and more new design options for the lock screen. Samsung is also adding the September security update, and there are several improvements for AI. The update is around 3.4GB in size.
Android 16 with One UI 8 is now ready for Galaxy S24 series models. You will get a notification when you can get it in. Don't want to wait for that? Then go to Settings > software update and check manually.
