Android 16 for Galaxy S23
Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy S23 series. This morning, the manufacturer started distributing the update to Android 16, featuring the company's latest skin; One UI 8. The update is now available in Europe, and thus also in the Netherlands and Belgium, Bert tells us. The update is combined with September's security update.
The update to One UI 8 also gives you access to several improvements and new features. Among other things, you get more options in Now Brief and Now Bar, and work has been done on new routine actions, you can add multiple alarms even faster, and Samsung's own weather app features new animations. Furthermore, several changes to the interface are visible and there are also the necessary improvements in terms of AI.
As mentioned, the update is now rolling out for the Galaxy S23 series. This means the update can be downloaded for the Samsung Galaxy S23, the S23+ and the S23 Ultra. For the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, the update will be available at a later date. You will get a notification on your device when the update is available for download. If you don't want to wait for that, go to software update in Settings and check manually.
