Samsung Galaxy A55, A35 and OnePlus Open get September update

We are seeing a new update appear for a number of devices. DroidApp is getting reports of a new update for three devices. They are the Samsung Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35 and the OnePlus Open.

Several devices are being updated to a new version. Time to update you on the changes being rolled out to the devices. Starting with Samsung. The South Korean manufacturer is releasing security update September for the Galaxy A55 and the Galaxy A35, we hear from Richard and Arjaan. The two models are thus a lot more up to date again, bringing patches from Samsung alongside those from Google.

OnePlus Open 15.0.0.860

OnePlus Open

Another update comes for the OnePlus Open. The phone gets software version OxygenOS 15.0.0.860, and we saw this version before for other models. Here too, the September security update has been implemented. We've put down the changelog with the changes for you below.

  • Improves the animations when tapping Live Alerts or notifications while the screen is locked.

  • Adds a map album that allows you to view all images with locations on a map.
  • After you set photos in the Private album as public, they will now reappear in their original locations, making them easier to find.
  • You can now change your privacy password on each secondary page of Private Safe, as well as in the Locked album of Photos.
  • You can now view your daily and weekly screen time in App management under Phone Manager.
  • Improves the layout of the remote control panel buttons in IR Remote.

System

  • Integrates the September 2025 Android security patch to enhance system security.
