Samsung has presented a new phone in its A series. There have been rumours of new devices for ages, but now it is the Galaxy A07 that makes its debut. This phone gets improvements in several areas. For instance, we see a hefty battery.

There is expansion for the Samsung Galaxy A series, in the form of the Galaxy A07. This new phone has been presented first for the Philippines. Its predecessor, the Galaxy A06 also appeared in Europe, so the device is expected to come our way too. The device is characterised by a hefty 6000mAh battery.

The new smartphone is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. In this, the device has 4GB of working memory with 128GB of storage. There is additionally space for a memory card. The Samsung Galaxy A07 has a 6.7-inch LCD display with a high refresh rate for its price: namely 120Hz. The resolution comes out at HD+. There is a 50-megapixel main camera with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In the front drop-notch is an 8-megapixel front camera.

The device runs Android 16 with One UI 8. Samsung promises six years of updates. Not just security updates, but also Android OS updates. Very neat in this price range, which we rarely see. The Galaxy A07 also features a 3.5 millimetre headset jack, a fingerprint scanner on the side, support for 5G, Bluetooth 5.3 and has an IP54 certification. The smartphone from South Korea is 8.2 millimetres thick and weighs 199 grams.
