Samsung shares details security update September: 25 fixes of its own

Samsung has shared details about its September security update. This new update includes patches from Google, as well as from Samsung. This will further improve the security of your Samsung device. What exactly is being addressed with this update, we put down for you in this article.

The September security update is a big one. This new security patch is already available for several Pixel phones, and other devices will soon follow. Samsung has now shared details on what improvements the update brings to theirs. At Samsung too, we see the necessary patches being implemented with the September 2025 update.

Looking at the specific Samsung patches, 25 vulnerabilities have been addressed, on top of Google's patches. Some of these concern Samsung's own One UI interface. In the list, we also see a fix for the theme app, so here too the vulnerability has been removed. Samsung's Security Update overview further shows fixes for some internal issues, including the lms service.
