Samsung has shared details about its August security update. In addition to Google's patches, patches are also being added by the South Korean manufacturer itself. A total of 18 vulnerabilities are being addressed by the brand.
Samsung on August update
The August security update has been released by Google this week. This means that in the coming weeks, we are going to see some more devices getting the update. Of course, we would love to hear from you, and see the email with screenshot in our mailbox (redactie@droidapp.nl), if you get updates. The Samsung Galaxy A56 is the first phone to be updated with the new security patch, we wrote on Tuesday.

On top of the patches implemented by Google itself, Samsung has also added patches to its August update. A total of 18 patches are involved. When we look at what improvements Samsung has made in One UI attached, we see several things. Samsung is tackling some improvements in the Galaxy Watch software. There is also an improvement in the Emergency SOS app and a fix for the camera; specifically for scanning documents. Finally, an improvement in security for the Samsung account.
The August security update is being prepared for the necessary devices as of now.
