OnePlus Watch 4
Officially announced, the OnePlus Watch 4 is aimed at users who want a rugged, full-featured wearable. What immediately stands out is the titanium casing. That material not only makes the watch lighter, but also more resistant to scratches and wear and tear. You can choose from two versions: a lighter version with green band and a darker version with grey band. According to OnePlus, the watch meets military durability requirements and can withstand water, dust and even sea water.

Under the bonnet, it is all about balance between performance and battery life. The OnePlus Watch 4 uses a Snapdragon Wear chip combined with an economical second processor for lighter tasks. As a result, according to the manufacturer, you can get up to five days ahead in smart mode, and even up to 16 days if you enable power saving.
The screen is another strong point. You get a bright OLED display with high peak brightness, which comes in handy when you want to check your notifications outside in bright light. The watch runs on Wear OS 6, complemented by OnePlus' own interface. That means access to apps, notifications and, for example, payment via Google Wallet.
For sports and health, you'll be fine. More than a hundred sports modes are available, some of which are automatically recognised. In addition, the watch measures your heart rate, blood oxygen levels and skin temperature, among other things. GPS support lets you track your activities accurately, even without a phone.
Looking at it as a whole, the OnePlus Watch 4 is not a radical innovation from its predecessor, the OnePlus Watch 3, but rather a refinement. The switch to titanium and the arrival of Wear OS 6 are the main upgrades.
Nothing has yet been announced about price and availability. Thereby, it is unknown whether the watch will also come to Europe. The smartwatch cannot be found on the Dutch website, and we don't see it popping up on several other European websites either. Possibly this is related to the latest state of affairs surrounding OnePlus. The manufacturer is reportedly leaving the European market.
