OnePlus 16 specs appear online
In our OnePlus 15 review, we spoke highly of OnePlus' new high-end smartphone. Equipped with a good camera and a hefty battery. But OnePlus clearly sees more potential for improvement. Already, rumours are circulating about the new OnePlus 16. Since we are not expecting the device until the end of this year, we are definitely still taking the information with a grain of salt. After all, plenty could change in the meantime. Still, we are already getting serious signals that the battery capacity will increase even further.
The OnePlus 16 is said to feature a massive 9000 mAh battery. Not only does this boat a huge capacity, fast charging should also be smooth. If reports are true, you can charge the new phone with a power of 120W. This is the wired speed, but wireless will also be possible, with a power of 50W.
For the camera, OnePlus would opt for a 200-megapixel main camera from Samsung's factory. A 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens would also be placed in the smartphone. A new wide-angle lens is also reportedly being worked on, though information on this is lacking. The screen is a BOE X5 OLED panel with 1220p resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. Underneath, we may see a Pro version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gen 6, with 6GHz clock speeds. This along with improvements in terms of working memory and storage. Also, the device will get IP69 certification against dust and water.
When OnePlus will present the new phone is not yet known.
