Motorola Razr 70 Ultra appears in first renders: what's new?

A new foldable is coming from Motorola. While we eagerly await the official release of the Razr Fold, we can also soon expect the new Motorola Razr 70 Ultra. The new device can be seen in the first renders.

Motorola Razr 70 Ultra in renders

Renders have appeared online of the new Motorola Razr 70 Ultra. The smartphone that will succeed the current Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is revealed by OnLeaks. As a result, we get to see the new device from all sides. If the reports are true, the device will be slightly thicker than the current device, which we discussed at length in the Razr 60 Ultra review. When closed, the device would measure 88.0 x 74.1 x 15.8 millimetres, when unfolded it is 171.3 x 74.1 x 7.8 millimetres. The current device is 6.2 and 15.7 millimetres thick. It is not known what the increase in thickness is due to, but it may be due to a slightly larger battery capacity or an improved camera.

On the device, we see a number of things reflected. For instance, on the left side of the Razr 70 Ultra, we see the Moto AI button. On the right side, there is space for the volume and power buttons. The bottom of the device houses the speaker, SIM card slot and there is a USB-C port. If reports are correct, the device will have a 7.0-inch screen inside, while on the outside there will be a 4.0 inhc screen. This is similar to the current Razr 60 Ultra.

Motorola presumably wants to equip the device with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. As for the rest of the specifications, nothing is known yet. It is also unknown when Motorola's new phone will be announced. The current series was announced in April last year.
