Huawei Watch GT Runner 2
With the Watch GT Runner 2, Huawei is making another bid for a place in the professional running watch segment. The watch has been developed in collaboration with two-time Olympic marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge, who has also been appointed by Huawei as a global ambassador. The Watch GT Runner 2 targets runners of every level, from recreational runners to experienced marathon runners.
For the watch, Huawei has developed a new antenna system that allows the watch to show a big improvement in GPS accuracy. Even in trickier environments such as tunnels or urban areas. Furthermore, an Intelligent Marathon Mode offers real-time pace instructions and smart reminders during races. For advanced runners, there is a lactate threshold algorithm on board, which automatically analyses training intensity and muscle load.
Despite all that cleverness, the watch weighs just 43.5 grams thanks to lightweight titanium. A breathable AirDry woven strap and an additional fluoroelastomer strap for intensive outdoor use are included in the sales package. The Watch GT Runner 2 is available in Dawn Orange, Dusk Blue and Midnight Black colours.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5
In addition to the running watch, Huawei also presented the FreeBuds Pro 5. These premium wireless earbuds feature a dual AI noise cancellation system, which recognises and actively manages ambient noise. According to Huawei, this ensures better noise cancellation, clear phone calls and lossless audio quality.

Huawei also showed at the event the Watch Ultimate 2 Green Edition for outdoor sports like diving and golf, and the Band 11 Series that combines health and activity monitoring in a compact size. In addition, the company also showed the Huawei Mate 80 Pro and MatePad Mini.
Availability and pricing
The Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 can be pre-ordered from 16 March for €399. The FreeBuds Pro 5 will be available from 26 February for 199 euros. The Watch Ultimate 2 Green Edition costs 999 euros and is also on sale from 26 February. The Band 11 and Band 11 Pro are available from 54.99 euros and 74.99 euros, respectively.
